The Pizzeria Mozza in Newport Beach is partially owned by Mario Batali (the croc wearing Food Network chef). A coupleweeks ago to celebrate my friend Jean's birthday, I took her herefor lunch and I am happy to report the food was great. Wedidn't have a reservation so we sat on the patio. Normally, Ilove sitting on the patio, but because the restaurant is so closeto Pacific Coast Highway, the street noise is very loud and distracting.Everyone was extremely polite and helpful and the food was great.We had the chopped salad (about 6" high), Pizza (the crust was the best)and ended our lunch with gelato. This is someplace I definitely will go again.
