 Last week, I watched 22 episodes of Season 1 of  HOLLYWOODTREASURES.  Its a reality show which follows Joe Maddalena and his team of appraisers as he tracks down and auctions off televisionand pop culture memorabilia. In the first episode, he hears thatone of the mechanical sharks used in the movie JAWS was on displayat a junk yard .  While I was watching the show, I decided I had to see that shark for myself.  So, while in the Burbank area, I headed northto the yard to see the shark.  Obviously, since the shark is still there, the owner decided not to sell it.  The shark is huge and it was fun tracking it down....even if I did have to see it through a chain fence.  BTW, they decided after talking to the owner, that this shark was notin the movie, but it was a prop on the set of the Universal Studios tour.If you love Hollywood and pop culture, this show is a must see.  Youcan watch it from Netflix.
